Dr. Jerry Radich, of the Fred Hutchinson Research Cancer Center, discusses the three Rs of cancer therapy. His group conducts large clinical trials for pharma, so they have a good understanding of clonal response, resistance, and relapse. By observing mutation patterns with single-cell DNA sequencing, his team could discern multiple clones that were related but genetically different.
